Diversity Ally for Faculty: Unlearning Sexism
This workshop is part of the Diversity Ally for Faculty series, created by the University of Oklahoma WGS Center for Social Justice and implemented with the support of the University of Oklahoma Office of University Community. This series is designed to inform you, transform your perspective, and empower you to improve our campus climate and give the best support to your student and colleagues. The Unlearning Sexism workshop is designed to educate participants on identifying sexism and cissexism. The workshop takes an intersectional approach by providing insight to how sexism and cissexism impact people of marginalized identities differently. Participants will learn ways to confront, resist, and educate about sexism and cissexism through interactive discussions and personal reflection.
